The Ones That Dream

September 04, 2025

I saw you in a dream once, one that had no beginning or end. I searched for you- for days, months, years since. You were the whisper of the wind, the amber of the dawn, the moonlit forest, familiar yet foreign. Formless yet pressing in my mind always, the undercurrent of life as it too passed me by.

I stopped looking.

My world fractured, the pieces too fine to weave back together. The innocence of naïveté unable to restrain the void any longer. Endless false hopes and misplaced trust cascade to a dismal wisp. A choice- pick up the pieces or start anew.

I started living.

I see you everywhere now- joy.
